Commercialising 250m+ of Clean Tech Research

Cyan Ventures is supporting the commercialisation of clean energy technology through its work for the Trailblazer for Recycling and Clean Energy (TRaCE).

TRaCE is a $250m+ partnership between University of New South Wales, University of Newcastle, a range of industry partners and the Australian government to accelerate the transition to sustainable recycling and clean energy solutions and systems.

The TRaCE programme supports commercialisation of new clean technology across four main areas: advanced solar technology, clean energy and storage, green fuels and circular economy. TRaCE accelerates commercialisation by co-funding and facilitating the R&D commercialisation process, building critical skills and supporting the development of a broader ecosystem of research teams, industry partners and start-ups to help commercialise climate technology.

Cyan Ventures is supporting TRaCE through analysing R&D investments in NSW and impact modelling that demonstrates the decarbonisation benefits of the programme.
